This workshop will suit photographers new to producing videos with their DSLR or Mirrorless camera.
Whilst the timings stated are approximate, the workshop will be split into 3 sections throughout the day and will cover:

Using your Camera (9.30-11.30)
- Camera options – Video Camera, DSLR, Mirrorless and Smartphone
- Controlling your camera settings eg. aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, video resolution (4k and 1080p), HDMI monitor, sound recording, microphone, headphones
- Lighting your shots ie. ambient light, LED panels, reflectors

Shooting your video (11.30-12.30, 1.00-2.30)
- Coming up with a storyboard, shot list and style/mood for your video
- Choosing your location and setting
- Shooting your video

Editing your video (2.45-5.00)
- Different editing tools available
- Basic Video Editing techniques to produce your final video (using Adobe Premiere Pro)

The day will consist of demonstrations and you getting hands-on to practice your skills and techniques to get video footage that will give you the confidence to start producing more videos. To get the most out of the day, you should bring:
- the camera you will use for video recording
- a laptop with Adobe Premiere Pro installed (the 30 day demo version will suffice)
- pen and paper
There will be so many more things covered during the workshop, difficult to identify everything that potentially could be learnt.
